Weblogic SSL is a screaming baby in the night.
See, here’s the silver lining in the very dark cloud of sysadmin hell I lately find myself. I’ve learned that I never, EVER, want to have to dig my way through an Oracle product again. So, there’s that.
Figuring out the SSL stuff between the nodemanager, admin servers and managed servers feels sort of like trying to figure out why my three month old baby is screaming all night long again. I’m reading anything I can find about baby sleep, night terrors, colic, anything I can get my hands on that looks remotely related! I’m asking – no, begging every parent I know: “tell me! What can I do!” Nothing works reliably. And what worked last night won’t tonight.
Seems really familiar, but see, in this nightmare, I’m a SINGLE, WORKING DAD! No partner to take turns with.
And someone keeps sneaking into the room after I go to sleep (hah!) and scattering caltrops all OVER the floor between my bed and the crib. Wait, no, those are legos.
